sun room opens,

black swans on a smooth pond
black cotton gowns

their cygnets bob and sway
as they ride the comforting waves

I struggle to smile with my eyes
instead of my mouth
behind this Covid mask

I take out the crayons
and un-scroll the paper roll
attached to end of the table<\/p>\n\n\n\n
breadcrumbs strewn across the water<\/p>\n\n\n\n
