so we could build another tribute museum
complete with a gift shop full of memorabilia
so we don\u2019t forget,
as it seems you have,

shit just keeps hitting the fan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We can\u2019t hold our candles any tighter,
or plead for your help one more time,
as our one, human voice
holds the line steady.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Must we keep on getting together like this,
hoping you\u2019ll somehow,
hear our voice differently?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Do we really need all these
special deeds and creeds to keep you here
in our back pocket?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And it seems you and I don\u2019t seem to share
the same values, with things like
world peace too much for you to pull off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The stories, of your encounters with us
are different words
heard through
different ears
giving each of us a different idea about you
that just perpetuates
our deepest divides in such a way
that makes me think, maybe,
we made you up ourselves, on the fly
not to mention the hate, injustice
and suffering
ultimately committed
because of those different ideas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Why don\u2019t you clear your name?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Prayers doesn\u2019t penetrate
the echo chamber that is the
simulated heavens,
and yet
we still find ways to give you credit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We experience and process,

procreate, perpetuate.
